Ellen Frankenberg, Ph.D., is CEO of The Frankenberg Group and a family business psychologist with 20 years experience managing her own business. She consults regularly with family and closely held companies primarily in the manufacturing, distribution and construction industries.
Dr. Frankenberg's book, Your Family, Inc.: Practical Tips for Building a Healthy Family Business, is in its fourth printing and is also available in Spanish. Frankenberg is a regular columnist for Family Business magazine. She also speaks for business, professional and trade associations, both in the United States, Canada and Europe.
In addition to her Masters degree from Xavier University in Cincinnati and a doctorate from The Ohio State University, Frankenberg holds advanced credentials in her field, notably the diploma for "advanced competence in the specialty of family psychology" granted by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP). She had taught in the MBA program at Xavier, and regularly leads seminars in Family Business Dynamics at the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada..
